SOC 2 Compliance Services in Noida and Greater Noida

SecureRoot Risk Advisory LLP runs SOC 2 readiness and audit support for Noida and Greater Noida companies from its branch office at Golden-I in Greater Noida West, which is a short drive from the Sector 62 and Sector 125 corridors rather than an address inside them. Our readiness fee is a published band of ₹1.5 lakh to ₹4.5 lakh, fixed in writing after scoping. A Type 1 runs on a dated calendar you get at the proposal stage; a Type 2 adds an observation window of three to twelve months after readiness, and the examination follows that window rather than sitting inside it. The report is signed by a licensed CPA firm: SecureRoot is not a CPA firm and does not issue SOC 2 reports.

Services

What We Deliver Here

The SOC 2 Programme

Everything either side of the examination itself: scoping which Trust Services Criteria belong in your report, the gap assessment, control design and remediation, evidence automation, and support through the CPA firm's fieldwork.

Evidencing What the Auditor Will Test

A SOC 2 asks you to show controls operated, not that a document described them. The same team tests the systems in scope and reviews the cloud configuration and hardening an auditor asks about first.

The Obligation Your Customer Does Not Mention

A Noida SaaS company asked for SOC 2 by a North American customer also has DPDP Act duties under Indian law, whoever asks about them, and is often asked for ISO 27001 in the same questionnaire. The control work overlaps heavily, so scoping them together costs less than running them one at a time.

How It Runs

Your SOC 2 Calendar, Week by Week

The dated sequence nobody competing for this search publishes. Weeks are indicative and confirmed in the written scope, and the Type 2 observation window is shown where it actually falls rather than folded into a single figure.

  1. 01

    Week 0: the scoping call

You hear back within one business day. A 30 to 45 minute call establishes which Trust Services Criteria your customer is really asking about, whether a Type 1 or a Type 2 answers the request, and the date you are working to. You then get a written scope, a timeline and a fixed readiness fee.

  2. 02

Weeks 1 to 3: gap assessment

We assess your existing control set against the criteria in scope and hand back a gap register: what exists, what is missing, what is informal and needs writing down, and what has to be built. This is the phase that makes the rest of the calendar real rather than estimated.

  3. 03

Weeks 3 to 12: remediation and evidence

Closing the gaps and setting up evidence collection so records accumulate automatically instead of being assembled in the week fieldwork starts. How long this really takes depends on how much of the control set already existed, which the gap register has by now established rather than guessed.

  4. 04

Readiness review, then the Type 1 examination

We walk the control set as an auditor would and fix what that surfaces. A Type 1 reports on design at a point in time, so the CPA firm can begin once readiness holds, and this is usually where a customer's immediate request gets answered.

  5. 05

Then three to twelve months: the Type 2 observation window

A Type 2 requires the auditor to observe controls operating across a window, commonly three to twelve months, and it starts after readiness rather than overlapping it. The examination and report-writing follow the window's close. If a customer wants a Type 2 report by a date, this is the step the start date is calculated backwards from, and it is the step competing pages leave out.

  6. 06

The CPA firm's fieldwork and the report

We introduce partner CPA firms during scoping, you choose between them and contract directly, and we support you through their evidence requests. The report carries the auditor's name and never ours. We do not promise a date for the auditor's report, because it is not ours to promise.

The Office

Why the Greater Noida West Office Matters

Noida is the one city on this search where we can answer the office question with an address instead of a claim, and it is worth being exact about what that address is. The branch is at Golden-I in Greater Noida West. It is not in Noida proper, and we are not going to imply a Sector 62 or Sector 125 address we do not hold. What it does mean is that the Sector 62, 125, 126 and 132 corridors and the whole of Greater Noida are a short drive, so on-site sessions are a normal part of the engagement rather than a travel line someone has to justify.

Those sessions are the ones that are genuinely better in a room: scoping, the walkthroughs where your engineers explain how a system actually behaves rather than how the architecture diagram says it does, and the readiness review before the CPA firm begins fieldwork. Control design, evidence plumbing and policy work run remotely, because they do not improve by being done in person. We have not published a fixed number of on-site days included in the fee, so it is agreed on the scoping call and written into the engagement rather than quoted here.

Service Area

Where Our Noida Clients Sit

The corridors the work comes from, and what the teams in each are usually being asked for.

  • Sector 62 and Sector 63

IT services and product teams whose first SOC 2 request arrives inside a North American customer's procurement pack.

  • Sector 125, 126 and 132 along the Expressway

Enterprise SaaS and shared-services centres, usually scoping a Type 2 because an existing customer has asked for one at renewal.

  • Sector 16A and the film city cluster

Media, adtech and consumer platforms, where the Trust Services Criteria that matter are confidentiality and privacy as much as security.

  • Greater Noida and Greater Noida West

Where the branch office is. Kick-offs, workshops and readouts can happen at our desk or at yours.

  • The rest of Delhi NCR

Delhi, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, covered from the same office on the same terms.

We do not keep an office in each of these places and will not pretend to. Delivery is from the Greater Noida West branch and remotely, with on-site days where the work needs them, and the same team serves clients elsewhere in India.

Questions

What Clients Ask Us

Something here not covered? Ask Us Directly.

How much does SOC 2 cost for a Noida company, and why two invoices?

Because two firms do two different jobs, and one all-in number hides the split. Our readiness and audit-support fee is a published band of ₹1.5 lakh to ₹4.5 lakh, an indicative band confirmed in writing after scoping. The CPA firm's attestation fee is separate, quoted by that firm and invoiced by it, and it is not SecureRoot revenue; our cost guide puts the indicative market range at ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh for a Type 1 and ₹5 lakh to ₹12 lakh for a Type 2. A compliance platform, if you use one, is billed annually by its vendor and recurs whether or not you are mid-audit. Your own team's time is the fourth line and the one most quotes omit. We will not quote a fixed all-in price that covers the CPA fee, because that fee is not ours to fix.

Who issues and signs the report, and how is the CPA firm chosen?

A licensed CPA firm issues and signs it under the AICPA attestation standards, and it must stay independent of whoever designed and implemented the controls, which is exactly why we cannot sign yours. In practice it works like this. During scoping we introduce the partner firms we work with; you compare them on fee, timeline and sector experience; you contract with the one you choose directly, so the engagement letter is between you and them and never routed through us. We take no share of that fee and no referral payment. If you already have a CPA firm that performs SOC 2 examinations, we work alongside it instead. Verify any firm you are offered on its state board's own register rather than on a consultant's page, ours included.

Are you CERT-In empanelled, and does that matter for SOC 2?

No, SecureRoot is not a CERT-In empanelled auditing organisation, and we would rather you read that here than discover it later. It is worth knowing what empanelment is and is not. It is an Indian scheme that matters where a regulator or a tender specifically requires an empanelled auditor's signature on a formal VAPT report. It has no bearing on a SOC 2, which is an attestation report written under the AICPA standards and signed by a licensed CPA firm; CERT-In does not empanel firms to sign SOC 2 reports and no Indian scheme does. A competitor ranking for this search leads with its empanelment, which is a genuine credential for the work it applies to and simply not the credential this report needs. Where an empanelled signature is genuinely required for something, we say so and that auditor signs.

What is actually included in a SOC 2 audit scope?

Scope is chosen, not fixed, and choosing it well is most of the cost control. Every SOC 2 covers the Security criterion. The other four, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy, are included only if they apply to what you promise customers, and each one you add brings its own controls, evidence and audit effort. Then there is the system boundary: which product, which environments, which supporting infrastructure and which subservice organisations your cloud and SaaS vendors count as. A boundary drawn too wide pulls systems into the examination that your customer never asked about. We scope against the request that started this, usually a security questionnaire or a contract clause, and then write the boundary down so the CPA firm quotes against the same thing you agreed.

What do we actually receive, and can we see what it looks like?

Four things, and they are working documents rather than a certificate. A gap register listing each criterion in scope against what you hold today, marked as present, informal or missing. A control set written to your systems rather than to a template. An evidence register naming what has to be collected and how often, which in practice means items like access-review records, change-approval tickets, onboarding and offboarding checklists, backup-restore test results and vendor-review notes. And a readiness report that says plainly whether we think you would pass. We have not published a client-cleared excerpt from a real engagement and will not invent one; what we can do on the scoping call is walk you through the structure of each document.

Our customer asked for SOC 2. What does the DPDP Act add on top?

They answer to different people, which is why a Noida SaaS company usually needs both. A SOC 2 is written for your customer's auditors and covers the Trust Services Criteria you put in scope. The DPDP Act is Indian law, applies whether or not a customer raises it, and its core obligations are enforceable from 13 May 2027. The overlap is real but partial: the access controls, encryption, logging and vendor diligence a SOC 2 examines also evidence the Act's reasonable security safeguards. What does not transfer are the privacy duties, which are notice, consent meeting the Act's standard, data-principal rights workflows, children's data, retention limits and breach intimation to the Data Protection Board. Doing the overlapping control work once, under one scope, is materially cheaper than discovering the gap a year later.
