SOC 2 Compliance Services in Delhi NCR

SecureRoot Risk Advisory LLP runs SOC 2 readiness for companies across Delhi, Gurugram, Noida and Ghaziabad, from a branch office in Greater Noida West. Our readiness and audit-support fee is published, and fixed in writing after scoping. SecureRoot is not a CPA firm and does not issue SOC 2 reports; a licensed CPA firm does, and you contract with it directly.

What it costs

How much does SOC 2 cost in Delhi NCR?

Four lines make up the bill and only the first is ours. Every figure below is either published on this site or attributed to where it came from. The two we do not control carry no number, because none is published and a guess would be worth less than the gap.

Your own team's timeNobody — but it is realNot publishedThe line most quotes leave out. Evidence automation shrinks it more than anything else we do.

A single all-in number for SOC 2 in Delhi NCR is either leaving one of those lines out or quoting a fee the consultant does not set. Our SOC 2 cost guide breaks the attestation fee down further, and the SOC 2 readiness service sets out the six phases the fee covers.

How long it takes

Two clocks, not one

Estimates for SOC 2 range from six weeks to nine months, and almost all of that spread is a counting error rather than a disagreement. There are two clocks, and a page quoting one number has usually picked a clock without saying which.

1. Readiness

Scoping and criteria selection, the gap assessment, control design and remediation, and evidence automation. This clock depends on how much of the control set already exists. On the SaaS engagement published in our case studies, it ran sixteen weeks to audit-ready. That is one engagement, not a quote.

2. The observation window, for a Type 2 only

The period the auditor watches your controls actually operate, usually three to twelve months, followed by the examination itself. A Type 1 has no window: it judges whether the controls are designed correctly at a point in time. Type 1 against Type 2 sets out which to start with.

On the ground

Do you work on-site in Gurugram, Delhi and Noida?

Yes, and we can say so plainly because there is an office in the region rather than a page about it.

Branch Office
1027, Tower 3, Golden-I, Plot No. 11,
Sector Tech Zone IV, Amrapali Leisure Valley,
Greater Noida West, Uttar Pradesh 201318, IN

We come to your office for the sessions that genuinely need a room: scoping, the walkthroughs where your engineers explain how a system really works, and the readiness review before fieldwork. The rest runs remotely, because evidence collection and control design do not improve by being done in person. We have not published a fixed number of on-site days included in the fee, so we will not quote one here; it is agreed during scoping and written into the engagement.

A sample redacted readiness-report page is not yet published on this site. When a consultant offers you one, ask for it; when they cannot, that is worth knowing too.

What we are not

SOC 2 alongside the DPDP Act and ISO 27001

Most NCR companies asking for SOC 2 are exporting software or services, and are already inside the DPDP Act, 2023 at home. The control work overlaps heavily, which is why running them together costs far less than running them twice. Three limits are worth stating before you shortlist anyone, including us.

  • SecureRoot is not a CPA firm and does not issue SOC 2 reports; a licensed CPA firm does. You contract with that firm directly and it quotes its own fee.
  • SecureRoot is not a CERT-In empanelled auditing organisation. A competitor ranking for this term leads with a CERT-In seal, so it is worth saying where we stand.
  • SecureRoot is not an accredited ISO certification body; certificates come from the certification body. Our ISO 27001 against SOC 2 comparison sets out where the two overlap, and DPDP Act readiness covers the Indian obligation — if you are shortlisting for that too, our sourced comparison of DPDP consultants in Delhi NCR names who else ranks for it.

If you want the longer version of who may sign which document, who can sign your security report covers all four signatures a buyer runs into.

Questions

What NCR buyers ask about SOC 2

Who issues the SOC 2 report, and is there a SOC 2 certificate?
A licensed CPA firm issues it, and there is no such thing as a SOC 2 certificate. SOC 2 is an attestation report written under the AICPA attestation standards, and the firm that signs it has to stay independent of whoever designed and implemented the controls. SecureRoot does not issue the report. It is issued by one of our partner CPA firms, introduced during scoping, and you choose between them and contract with them directly. What we do is everything on either side of that audit: scoping the criteria, closing the gaps, setting up evidence collection, and supporting you through the partner firm's fieldwork. The report carries the auditor's name, not ours. If a consultant in Delhi NCR offers to certify you or to issue the report themselves, that is the point to stop and ask who signs.
How much does SOC 2 cost for a company in Delhi NCR?
There are four lines and only one of them is ours. SecureRoot's readiness and audit-support fee is ₹1.5 lakh to ₹4.5 lakh, the range published on our SOC 2 service page as of 2 September 2026, and it is fixed in writing after scoping. The CPA firm's attestation fee is separate, invoiced by them, and our cost guide puts the indicative market range at ₹2 lakh to ₹5 lakh for a Type 1 and ₹5 lakh to ₹12 lakh for a Type 2. Compliance tooling is billed by the platform vendor annually. Your own team's time is the line most quotes omit entirely. Any single all-in number you are shown for Delhi NCR is either excluding one of those lines or guessing at a fee the consultant does not control.
How long does SOC 2 take, and why do the estimates differ so much?
Because two different clocks get reported as one. The first is readiness: scoping, the gap assessment, control design, remediation and evidence automation. On the SaaS engagement published in our case studies that clock ran sixteen weeks to audit-ready, and it varies with how much of the control set already exists. The second clock only applies to a Type 2, and it is the observation window, during which the auditor watches your controls operate, usually three to twelve months. A page quoting six to eight weeks is describing the first clock. A page quoting six to nine months is describing both added together. Neither is wrong; they are answering different questions. Ask any consultant which clock their number refers to, and whether the examination weeks after the window are inside it.
Do you actually work on-site in Gurugram, Delhi and Noida?
Yes, and the reason we can say so plainly is that we have an office in the region rather than a page about it. Our branch office is at Tower 3, Golden-I, Sector Tech Zone IV, Greater Noida West. We come to your office for the sessions that genuinely need a room: scoping, the walkthroughs where your engineers explain how a system actually works, and the readiness review before fieldwork. The rest runs remotely, because evidence collection and control design do not improve by being done in person. We have not published a fixed number of on-site days included in the fee, so we are not going to quote one here; it is agreed during scoping and written into the engagement. Many pages targeting these cities are templates with no address at all.
We already have ISO 27001. Do we still need SOC 2?
Usually yes, if the request came from a North American customer. They answer different questions. ISO 27001 certifies that your information security management system meets a standard, and an accredited certification body issues the certificate; SecureRoot is not one, and never issues it. SOC 2 is an attestation report about how your controls operated against the Trust Services Criteria, written by a CPA firm for your customer's auditors to read. The control work overlaps heavily, which is why doing them together costs far less than doing them twice, and our ISO 27001 against SOC 2 comparison sets out where the overlap actually sits. What does not transfer is the report itself: an ISO certificate does not satisfy a customer asking for a SOC 2, however reasonable that would be.
Which SOC 2 consultant is actually based in Delhi NCR?
Several claim to be, and the check is quick. Ask for a street address rather than a city name, and ask which of their people would attend a scoping session in your office. Many pages ranking for this term are a single template with the city name swapped, no address, and no named delivery commitment. Ours is a branch office in Greater Noida West, listed in full on this page and on our contact page. We also think you should ask us the harder questions: we are not a CPA firm and cannot sign your report, we are not CERT-In empanelled, and we are not an accredited ISO certification body. If a shortlist page ranks its own author first and gives every competitor a custom quote, that is not a comparison.
